The workshop is a large steel framed, corrugated iron construction, with 1/2 cement and 1/2 timber flooring. This shed is located at the Northern side of the first house. This shed has shelving and a sink in the working area.
This shed can also provide lots of lockable storage. The workshop is approximately 105 square metres.
It houses an electric pump which supplies the whole property with spring fed under ground water.
This Eastern view of the workshop shows an old windmill, believed to be constructed around 1930's. The windmill is above an old brick well and is no longer used.
The large shed roof collects rainwater for the storage tank. The tank water is never used and is only a back up should the need ever arise.

- The Factory -
This unused food factory is a section of 2 out of 3 old tobacco kilns and many years ago was renovated to accommodate a former home industry.
This 1st section was the main processing room. This room contains benches, sinks, hand basin, and heavy plastic curtains on both entrances.
It also houses a small tea room area with 2 smaller rooms for a hand basin and toilet (never installed).
It is constructed externally with corrugated iron, internally plastered, cement flooring and 3hp power.
This storage area is the 2nd section of the tobacco kilns. This area is the middle kiln and is cooler in temperature.
